I have a .3dsx and i was wondering if there was a way to "take it apart" and see the components.
You mean decompile it?
Which 3dsx is it?
Just use a decompiler like IDA
Source code is attached in the Minesweeper thread:
Is it this Minesweeper source code you were asking for? Or is there a different minesweeper? Most of the time when a homebrew is released, it's released with it's source too.
IDA is a debugger.
Quote from https://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/
IDA is a Windows, Linux or Mac OS X hosted multi-processor disassembler and debugger [..]
So it isn't only debugger, it's also a disassembler.
Woops thought I remembered it saying that it was a decompiler
