Hello again. I'm the same person who posted a thread yesterday regarding a wii which I thought was bricked. Luckily thanks to some help I fixed it and also managed to download the wii u transfer tool from the wii shopping channel afterwards. However just when I thought everything was ok I started the wii u transfer tool and the screen turned black and said ''This channel can't be used''.

I would really appreciate it if I could get the kind of help I got yesterday to fix this issue. I don´t have much time to work with this later today, so I hope I don´t get responses too late .

Do you have IOS62 installed? If not, Install it. You should be able to download it using NUSD.
Check the box on NUSD to pack it into a WAD then install it using a wad manager.

I have IOS62 installed and I already fixed the downloading problem. The problem I stated in my post is everytime I open the channel I downloaded it says ''This channel can't be used''.

Since you have bootmii working, try making a NAND backup then updating to 4.3. At worst, restore your NAND backup, at best, it fixes the transfer tool.

NOTE : DO this BEFORE making the NAND backup and/or updating to 4.3)
The latest bootmii should survive the update as long as you update your boot2 to v4 via dopmii then reinstall bootmii via the hackmii installer (this is needed as updating boot2 removes bootmii, and the 4.3 update also updates boot2, which is why you should update it first then reinstall bootmii, that way it survives the update to 4.3)

The reason I am recommending an upgrade is to attempt to fix any leftover damage from you bricking your Wii earlier. The channel *should* work once you update.

Thanks driverdis for all your help, but I read somewhere that it was a region problem and decided to perform a sort of region free hack. And it basically allowed me to open the channel and a minute ago I trasnfered all my files :yay: . Again thanks for the effort.
