Hardware Help Switch lite. L trigger puts console into sleep mode.

help needed,

Nintendo switch lite. when I press the l trigger the console goes into sleep. if I press it again the screen wakes.
long press I get the power menu.

I've removed the power button flex cable and ipa the l trigger and zifs.
IPA both the power button zif and the daughter to main board zif.

I will try a different daughter board and flex cable later.

In system settings, testing the l trigger, it registered as a l trigger, but obviously the screen turns off at the same time.


Has anyone experience this before?

This is me replying to my own question,but it's sorted now.

It was a corrosion on the flex cable daughterboard side.
Haven't fixed yet, but I'll try and jumper it. only 2pins..

Hi did u fix this? I am having this issue, the l trigger acts in the same way as if I touched the power button once it puts it into sleep mode then when I press it again it wakes.

apologies for the late reply.

yeah i fixed this issue, it was corrosion, so the daughter board needed a good clean
