ROM Hack [HELP] SNES VC Decrypting doesn't work

how do you tell if a rom is highrom or lorom? Trying to get Sailor Moon Another Story to work and I get Black screens everytime. I'm using mario world, and I don't know how to tell if I need to switch to earthbound.

You can check the rom with NSRT http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/400/ Sailor Moon Another Story is a HiRom.

Well, Earthbound was dumped and cryptofixed, gonna try some HiROM injections and see how they fare out.

I tried injecting some games but not work for me.

I think it's more a matter of consistency - the SNES VC CIA games I have (SMW, F-Zero, and oddly enough the EU release of EarthBound) have a NA SNES banner.

you code just dumo the banner yourself in Ohana

its literllary renaming the banner.bin to .bnr and opening it to extract the files

anyone get a hirom working yet with the earthbound VC base? the Jap sailor moon is thesame size as earthbound and I just get black screens. why'd nintendo have to make this more difficult than gb/c games

I just built it with the usa megaman x and it loads.Haven't played it much but it didn't crash

Can you check if your armor parts stay after you beat a level? its not working for me but the game plays fine besides that
