Hacking [Help requested] So, where do I start ?

It has been a long ass time since I last dabble into any mods/cfws/flashcards from the PSP/DS days, right now all I want to do now is just simply be able to host ,MH4G japanese-only DLC on MH4U

As of now, I have the following hardware to spare :

-Gateway Blue and Red cards
-3DS (Gateway Compatible)
-3DS XL (Gateway compatible)
-N3DS

I bought gateway eons ago, about a year after it got released IIRC, but I have never ever used it before, I notice there are some nand flashes around, but I figured it would be wiser to consult people before accidentally destroying my 3DS

Basically, I would like to know :

-How do I get my gateway 3ds to go online
-How can I get MH4G DLC to be played on MH4U ?
-Can my N3DS connect with the gateway 3ds ?

I would really appreciate it if a more skilled person could guide me, or point me towards the appropriate tutorials, tbh I am lost on at least half of the terms thrown around

setup an internet connection and make sure the rom is either a cia or a .3dz with a private header

Easiest answer is find a cia, install it and play online

-Can my N3DS connect with the gateway 3ds ?

Yes as long as it is 9.2 or lower and you have a copy of cubic ninja or Zelda OOT and a save dongle / old 3ds with 9.2 or lower
