I have a question here.
I bought this NDSL since last year on ebay, where the item comes from USA. I think it's original, the quality looks perfectly like original.
So, my question is...
When you open the box, there's an empty Slot-2 NDSL cartridge.
What is that for...

to keep the dust out of the gba slot

^^

Its just that it will fit, and stay in the slot itself, without that circuit board thing (or what ever you call it) it ill just drop out.

To keep the dust out...yeah sure, as if Nintendo cares, how come they never brought that idea to the GBA and GBC...

if you ask me, that slot-2 cover thing is jsut to make it look better, imagine that it wasn't there, then you'd jsut have a big ass hole down the side of the DS

You don't need it for the GBA and the GBC cause people will have a cartridge in there all the time anyway. People who buy DS might not have GBA cartridges to keep the dust out. Obvious, really.

What he said; GBA cartridges are held in the GBA slot by the pins pressing against the circuit board. Without a dummy board in there the dust cover wouldn't stay in at all.

Chrono_Tata: remember the DS Lite has a short GBA slot; GBA cartridges stick out by 1cm, so keeping one in there isn't really an option if you use any kind of case with your DS

But I wonder why there are not empty inside...

Hmm, it doesn't matter for me now...
Thanks

Well now wait just a minute here. Why are you wondering why they aren't empty inside? This was just explained to you: Without the circuit board there, the cartridge would fall out. Why go through the trouble of using something else that's not a circuit board (from Ninty's perspective) when they have easy access to the circuit boards such as those?

What's still up in the air at this point?
