Hacking help plz backuploader no working

hi all
i have been away from my wii for a while now and havent updated any software on it

i wanted to play a backup game but i got a 324 error on gator backup

i am on 4.2U wii version
can some one walk me thru updating my wii to latest modded version?
and i have no idea what other things i installed on the wii like those cios files
is there someway to find that out?

or can i completely reset my wii to a virgin wii and start fresh from a system menu version that is hackable?
