i have a digital download of sun on my 2ds but when i boot up the game i get a black screen and an error saying i need to restart my 2 ds but it keeps happening can someone help me

If you go into the eshop you can repair your download. If this does not work go to your Settings and delete the game (Make sure not to delete your save game) and re download it from the eshop.

Have you tried uninstalling it and re downloading from the eShop?
And there are absolutely no mods on your 3DS?

there are no mods and i have tried that already.

i just bought and eshop card to download the game.(my card reader is fucked)
and i donwloaded the game but when i boot it up i keep gettin the error massage wich states i need to restart my game and if that doesnt work i need to contact the customer service. i did but they have not replied yet so thats probably not until Monday.
i dont wanna wait that long

How big is your SD card? There could be 2 possibilities. Either your SD card could be faulty, or the game got corrupted when downloading.

i have a 128 gb sd card and my other game run fine on it(when the beta cam out i could play it just fine.
so its probably somehting wiht the donwload then how do i fix that

Sounds fishy tbh. It looks like a seed error but since you said it's a "legit" copy, that is ruled out instantly.
Do you have any mods of sorts? (Such as a boot manager, CFW, etc.)

Something is getting corrupted when downloading. Is your memory card cluster size set to 64kb?
