Hello!
I have a 32gb WiiU along with a ezShare sd card with a 16gb micro inserted.

I am wanting to self host IOSU since I do not game online, Also want to play backups on usb.
With everything thats coming out, i am a little confused to which way would be the best.
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

This let's you launch homebrew like Loadiine (loading games from SD) and wupinstaller (installing games to your HDD with the brazilian method).

you must create the fw.img yourself. the wupclient is from your pc which connects to your wiiu. BUT IT'S FOR DEVELOPERS! IF YOU BRICK IT'S YOUR FAULT! So... wait till it's user friendly and use the brazilian method to install usb games

For the CFW Booter (IOSU) you need a redNAND fw.img, which you MUST create yourself! (https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-load-a-fw-img-for-any-file-dumping-wiiubru-status-update.445840/) if you find any fw.img in the Internet don't use it if it isn't officaly released by Salt or The WiiUbru team, because you don't know what will happen when you use it. Use the guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-load-a-fw-img-for-any-file-dumping-wiiubru-status-update.445840/ for creating it. (You'll find the right link there)

You don't host iosuhax. You host kexploit, which allows you to run the HBL. From there you can launch homebrew like cfwbooter. With it you can boot a selfcompiled (or downloaded) fw.img that dumps your NAND and enables redNAND.

But from the sounds of it, he is mainly interested in running games from USB. If that's the case, you don't need iosuhax. You can use the Brazilian method.

This is basically what I was needing to hear. It's alot to take in all at once with all the different ways to go about doing this.
I have homebrew launcher up and running now. so onto the brazillian exploit next.
quick question... Is it possible or not to dump nand to usb?

If your plan is only load games from usb use the brazilian method , no exploit need , is like the bought ones .

Yes, I have it figured out now. But my only question is how can I dump my own disc and install that on usb...

Is more easy download from NUS (the Nintendo servers) and get the ticket to install from that iso site. If you have the disk i dont consider that piracy . . There is not a easy method for dump the disk and ticket yet . .

Well I got a game I got the disc on, and want to dump for the brazilian HDD, but can't cause we don't have a method yet.

For the brazilian method the game must be in the eshop and disk. Is there a game in eshop and not in the NUS server ?

In your case use loadiine or rednand, what is the game? Rednand is still green for me.. Soon will have the salt solution
