Homebrew Question Help! Plain-text HB apps ignore most button input

On most HB apps using only plain text (nxmtp, Data.Arc Dumper, etc.), none of the button inputs highlighted in the app seem to work, rendering very important applications useless. How might I go about fixing this?

i had this issue once and just replace the files on sd card with fresh files and that fix it and make sure u install the latest versions of each homebrew too
