Homebrew Help on updating oothax 10.7 to 11.0.0

My friend gave me his cartridge with oothax 10.7 on it. However, I have 11.0.0 and it usually takes me 20-30 tries to get it working.

Is it possible to update the cartridge to 11.0.0 without using a powersave? I can access the homebrew channel.

No just use SVDT after you succeed in launching the hbl. 11.0, in a nutshell, sets up the 3DS memory that randomizes the chances of successful takeover. The 11.0 OOT update bypasses that.

I have a similar issue. I currently have OOTHax Old 3DS 11.0.0.33 US and want to give it to my friend so he has Homebrew access. Although if there's a firmware update, if there's not a way to somehow update the FW oothax is compatiable with then he will lose all access to Homebrew. Is there a way to update the payload?

payload for 10.6, 10.7, and 11.0 are the same.

not right now. if you can set up the hax on your console, set it up for 11.0. your friend should probably stay on 11.0 and use ctr-httpwn if they want to easily keep homebrew though.
