Hacking Help needed Flasing M3i zero

Hi I hope someone here can help me out with what is probably a common problem.

I have a new M3i zero card which I am trying to setup, I've followed all the guides to format the sd card, download firmware and software, unzipped and copied all to the root directory on the sd card, plugged in the firmware updater.....and I just get a solid red light....no flashing. If I put the card into the dsi I get "no card inserted". I'm obviously doing something wrong but I can't see it, I'm not technically gifted but I think I know enough to follow some simple instructions. Help please !

I've followed the instructions to the letter and still a solid red light and card not recognised in ds.

Is your mSD card formatted?

I've formatted the sd card again using this link and still only a solid red light. F core is v1.6.1 software is sakura148 ???

no matter what I do I always get the red light....I have 2 M3i cards and both have the same result so I must be doing something wrong ??

check if the cable is well conected... or if it is conected on the right side... I remember that when I did it, conect the cable was little dificult...

Thanks.....problem was the cable not quite fitting right, a slight adjustment and hey presto flashing lights.....both card now working.
