So, I used to have a softmodded Wii...I hated having to manually update the CIOS every few weeks when an unplayable game would get released.

This time, I want to skip all that nonsense and just go with a nice modchip.

I have a yellow sticker Wii Key, but I can't solder and I don't want to risk it...simple as that.

I'm looking for a plug and play (more or less) modchip. If I have to open it up and snap it in, whatever. I'm cool with that.

So, whats the best modchip that involves no soldering and has nice compatibility?

Ugh, I wish I could sell this WiiKey on ebay but they don't allow that. Is there a website that might let me trade it in for one I might be more comfortable with?

Modchip are old, outdated and most of them not compatible with new wiis

Kinda been outta the scene for a long while...is installing a cios still difficult? I never really understood it and was terrified I'd brick my wii every time.

I remember I used to have to read for hours and hours and still never quite understood it. I just don't have the time to do hours upon hours of research anymore......

Modmii downloas everything for you and generates a custom guide for modding your wii, use a usb loader...
If you read the guide there is no risk of bricking
