Hmm, seems like a competitor has risen up in the thread

I have never heard anybody say anything about the SC-ONE, that's why i disregarded it as not being one of the top choices.

In what ways is it better then the R4 except the save choice you wrote about? And is the updates as frequent and fast as R4? As i see it of the slot 1 solutions R4 was the first one to get Zelda working if I'm not completely mistaken

Slow motion is not really anything I'm into. The action replay thingy sounds awesome though. But sounds on you people like all 3 ( the ones in the poll ) has that. I thought it was only Cyclo first

Homebrew is ofcourse important but most of all I want all the games to work, and if a thing like zelda would pop up and not work I want to know they are minute fast with their updates like the EzFlash team and also that they keep supporting their products even though they have newer products.

yes as regards to support, there wasn't an update for the scds-one for zelda

but that's because it didn't need one

to gauge sc support despite the crap that's spread around look at how the sc slot2 carts had an update within 2 hours of zelda's release !!!
ohmy.gif
... mmm even the mighty G6 (cough, cough) norm/lite still has no update for it as of yet

repeat.. despite the crap that spreads round about sc/rommans commitment...

also look how all the sc slot2's got real time ar+dipstar cheats engine with no slow down as well as the real time book/guide, the only cart that can rival those features is the SC-DS who got it first. cyclo-evo=no r4/m3=yes but it slows down majorly and has multiple errors, they are beaton by a 2-3 year old sc-cf !!!!

SC>M3 by one hell of a long shot with regard to ds roms (-gba, everyone know sc is shite for gba, even sc/romman admit that and have not bothered with gba support for over 2 years now for slot 2's, but boy did they make up for it with ds roms!!)

The sc-ds1 just gets better and better as time goes on, just like it's slot2 bretheren.... grape vine tells me scds is getting sdhc support and real time save facility !!! then it's rumoured that romman will be working on 100% download n play, not just for scds1 but for the whole range !!! including aged sc-cf and sc-sd 's slot 2's!!!! romours and heresay on chinas sc forums???? .. but they are usually right

And remember slot1 or slot2 there has never been a rom that hasn't worked for more than a week on any format on SC.

Lets give the SC/romman some credit.. no abandoment of the older range, even right now, today.... are you watching M£ ????

As hard as certain members/admin/mods try to bash the SC.. it's still there even when m3/g6 is almost all but dead and buried

see the truth, or you'll end up with a ds-x 9.5 ..shrugs..

SCDS has better homebrew capability, springs dont break on the inside, dont have to patch Opera Web Browserto use it( but you need have to a SC Lite). sidneyyoung has explained alot of other good points about the SCDS as weel

Everyone is bigging up many different cards on here so its too hard to choose!

Basically, I dont use homebrew, I dont use cheats, Im not bothered about how pretty the front-end is, Im not bothered about onboard or expandable memory...

...all I care about is the card being the most compatible with new/existing roms, and with the quickest fixes and updates. No bells and whistles, just rom-compatibilty...and reliability/ease-of-use of course!

under this light, please could someone recommend the best card that fits this description.

(any recommendations must already be compatible with Zelda:PH!

Get a R4DS. It's a great card with good support and easy to use.

Hello again. I am really happe you all helped me with this poll so I got a little more insight into what cards are "best".

I've been reading around a little more, and it seems G6Real is the only card that Wii connectivitii works with. Is this true? And if so I thought it would have got a lot more love in this thread/poll

The CycloDS would be the best for you in my opinion.

In regards to Zelda:PH, the G6 Real and CycloDS will not have a problem. As for the R4 im not sure.
