Be also sure to check if the motherboard you're getting is compatible with the RAM memory you eventually are planning to order. Most of the times, a ASUS mobo P5755 (or so) wasnt compatible with a Corsair, at least, not entirely. Failing to find a compatible RAM memory for your MOBO can result in instable performance.
Also, if you thing that your CPU intel i7 is a bit expensive, you can always decide to go for a i5 processor. It costs a lot less, but the performance of the i7 is slightly better. i5 does the job for everything I know (considering that most new-gen games only require dual core cpu's, you should be fine with i5 in combination with good RAM and a good Graphical card)
