Homebrew Help, Luma3DS 8.0 chain loader

Ok so I was updating my friends 3DS to B9S and failed because he was missing the sighaxed.firm

After awhile I finally installed the sighax on his system and tryed to update his system to b9s again but when I tryed to open the chain loader it keep crashing. How ever he has b9s 8.0 on his system now.

Reason I'm asking for help is because idk how I'm gonna fix the chain loader.

What do you mean by "crashes"? What kind of error does it give? How does it react? Does it dump log files, and if it does, can you send any dumps or logs if you have them?

The Moment I power on his 3DS it boots ok, but if I try to power on while holding start it just gives the arm9 crash.

I tryed uploading a crash dmp but it this site keeps saying it's extension isn't allowed for some reason

Okay, so I'm guessing that because you have a ".dmp" file that it's an exception error.

If you want, you can put the file in a ".zip" file, just in case a dev or someone needs it, and post it here.

I dunno what to tell you though, sorry.

Why did you copy literally everything to there? It can only load FIRM payloads. Delete everything except those.

Because the first attempt with only firms it crashed so I wasn't for sure if I left something out. Never had this problem with my 3DS sadly

You may need to wait for an update for .firm files. Download the latest version it may work.

If the 3DS is on 11.4 then (according to the release notes) SigHax will not work. You need to provide more info on what exactly you did before you ran into the error.

For real? When I installed it on my system on 11.4 I had no issues a few days ago. His system was on the same ver as mine. I'm not exactly sure what went wrong but I'm just gonna wait for an update on firms.
