Homebrew Help launching browserhax on Old3ds

So I'm trying to set my friends 3ds with Luma3ds, which I did on my own New3dsxl with no problems. I managed to downgrade his 3ds from 10.7 to 9.2, however when I try to launch browserhax on his 3ds a white screen comes up and it doesn't do anything. I haven't had this problem before and I know I'm doing it correctly as I've done it before with my own. I'm not sure if there's some kind of issue or something else I need to do. I have the boot.3dsx file and the ropbin in the root of the sd card, and I don't believe I need anything else besides that (and the homebrew starter pack).
Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks!

If you zoom in all the way, and scroll to the very top-left, is there a slider? If so, you have to do sliderhax. Just click the stylus on the far right side of the slider.
