I was doing the same as you, using sysnand for legit purchase and emunand for translated games, until Nintendo started checking NVer for eshop access and more and more games I wanted to buy implemented seeddb encryption, which makes staying at 9.2 for legit use such a pain in ass, essentially you can do nothing at all. Even downloading game updates turns to be impossible because they changed URLs. As long as you don't have a newer tiger installed, which is also not possible, you will always receive an error visiting update page.
If you still want to stay on 9.2 for legit use, there're two methods. The first, as mentioned above, use A9LH. The second, mirror your current sysnand to a new emunand, update to latest, do the purchases, and export title.db from emunand, then inject it back to sysnand. This will make titles you purchased in emunand to show up on sysnand. However, those requires higher firmware may not launch, even if you can see them in sysnand.
