Hacking Help a rokkie plz=)

Alright guys, ive been reading and reading but i get more and more confused

Ive just figured it out that i dont need to chipp my wii in order to play games that i downloaded from internet, look at DVD-movies, play old SNES games thorugh emulators.

Ive read that u actully only need an extern hardrive and then i need to download some files and transfer them over to the wii.

Could anyone be so kind and tell me what to do step by step?

alright. i will try following it. just another thing that i could find. Does it work the same with a external HD through USB as a SDcard?

i mean SDcards are cheaper but the size is very small if u want to watch movies and stuff like that.

You can watch movies from a SD card, yes. Games would really need an external hard drive due to the size of them, among other issues.
