Hey everyone. I'm new here, actually I've been surfing GBA Temp forums for a long while but only decided to join now because I've recently purchase an Acekard 2i for my XL and it has been a wonderful experience till now, and then I stumbled upon reports and threads on fake carts/cards and it got me all in a frenzy... but after an extensive search on this forum (very awesome place by the way!), I believe mine is the real deal (I hope).

Since, GBA Temp has been nothing but full of awesomeness I decided to cave in and finally join in the fun! I hope every one is nice here and we can get along ; )

As long as the latest AKAIO works on your card, you don't have a clone. For me that was always the easiest way of checking it since you don't have to rip the cart open and you don't have to check the sticker for validity (plus earlier AK2i's didn't even have stickers, so...).

Thanks for the warm welcome and yes, I'm running the latest AKAIO if I am not mistaken, 1.8.9 is what is listed in the Help menu of my AK2i menu and I have HWID: 81. ; )
