I'm blessed with "Run-time error:'53' File not found"

errorhk3.jpg

Can someone help us here??

run in safemode. thats what i did. after that just run healthii and you wont have to do a thing. i seriously mean not a thing. to go into safemode incase you dont know just press F8 upon booting
what i mean is what is the U8 FILE, I cant find it

oh sry i have no idea.

the reason that i was getting this error was because the tplconv.exe was not automatically renaming the file. If i run the computer in safe mode, it will automatically name it. So i copied the name that it automatically saves it as and tried it in regular mode and it worked.

Can you elaborate on that please.
You copied the name during safe mode...during the process or after?

btw: I can create a file fine in safemode, my question is in attempt to do so NOT in safe mode.

ok im going to make this rly simple.

1. go into safe mode by pressing F8 when booting your PC
2. run healthii
3. find wad
4. choose image
5. click disable splash screen
6. click create health screen AND DONT TOUCH ANYTHING AT ALLLL AFTERWARDS
7. wait 2 minutes
8. name your .health file and save
9. rename your .health to 00000042.app for NTSC or 00000045 for PAL and you can add anything at the end off .app (example poop.health------------>00000042.appmario or anything else)

I am running wii 3.2u, using a system menu 289.wad. I run into this error when the tpl converter program pops up to name the newly created tpl file. In order to make it work, i have to name it "it_Has_a_US_ENG" without the quotes and i get past the runtime error. Might be a different saying if you are runing a different system menu wad. If another window opens again just type the same thing to get past it. In order to see what you need to type, run the app in safe mode and when you see a box with two tpl files one is tpl.tpl, and the other is what you ned to name your file. I just scren captured it and thats how i figured this out.

is it possible to put more than one 45.app file root of sd card

Yes, just after the .app write any name you want like 000045.appmario or something like that.

woops thanks i started using sftmii tweak so i got the 2 confused. haha

2. run healthii
3. find wad
4. choose image
5. click disable splash screen
6. click create health screen AND DONT TOUCH ANYTHING AT ALLLL AFTERWARDS
7. wait 2 minutes
8. name your .health file and save in sd card in a folder called healthii in the root of sd card
9. Use Healthii Installer to install your healthii file

ps. if healthii doesnt find the health files in the healthii folder then i think you put in the root of the sd card. i forget. haha

Thanks. Seems only US will work with that method though

I tried with 'it_Has_a_EU_ENG' and also 'it_Has_b_EU_ENG' both with same error.
After taking a screenshot in safemode it was revealed to be using the same as yours (even with my PAL 290 system menu?) 'it_Has_a_US_ENG'...
...the first time I tried that it completed but the file was a few bytes short so I deleted...and since then it's hanging, guess I need a reset.

Think I'll stick to safemode, and perhaps an update will come along in the future. Cheers

Do that method for that error on US or PAL, the same files are in both

Hey creator
smile.gif

The method works again after a reset, however the .health file is 11,395KB - and in safe mode I get 11,801KB
I'm guessing (without testing as a semi-brick is bad for my health even though preloader restores my health!) that the smaller file is cropped or similar?

Great tool - everyone loves it, cheers.

I also get no effects after (seemingly) a successful install. I'm wondering if it may have anything to do with preventing updates from games...

even in safemode, I cannot get an automated install. am i missing a program?

can someone let me know the steps so I can do it manually?

well I tryed to do it manually, but the health.ash that gets extracted with this tools it is not supported by the crediar's ash.exe, I think it is the size of it, the rest open well just that one didn't, dunno, and if I try to unpack wih howardC tool the 01.app my PC stops working so I just have the healtii option for me to make my changes, I hope the "select" region language come soon to this amazing tool...!!!

BTW: is there a way to make my image "press A" translucent, you know, so it don't interfere with the background...???

is it possible to save it with a clear background and save/use it as a png file? I know png files will keep a transparent bg. Just a thought?!?!
