Hardware HD Rumble is terrible right now, imo.

HD Rumble is pretty good in Mario Kart. When you pick up a coin? Almost like an actual coin landed in your hand.

I like HD Rumble, it feels like a massage rather than a jolt and is not as intrusive and yet feels more immersive.

But I haven't felt on the Pro Controller so I reserve my comments.

I haven't had much of a good experience with HD Rumble, to be honest. Most of the time my Pro Controller makes really harsh vibrations, weird noises like an owl and so on so to avoid all this together, I decided to turn off vibration (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's vibration is what really annoyed me completely).

It's possible to turn off the vibration via the Console Settings.

P.S. It makes sense why the Western release of Puyo Puyo Tetris has the HD Rumble turned off by default.

Totally agree with this. But the precision of the rumble good at least but the noise is really like an owl when you pick up the coins in MK8D. And yea the vibration is a bit harsh.
