Homebrew hbc and usb hard drive?

can you use a usb device/hard drive on the hbc? meaning you can load the emus/apps off a hard drive?

The HBC can't do that, it will only display the applications on the sd card in \apps\
But there is another loader, I think that one can run from hd. Forgot the name though

no, you need a app called loadmii for that. hbc loads only from sd, but loadmii can load apps over smb, usb, sd gecko and usb gecko.
