I have no idea,I feel really bad that there is not much I can do. Ive never gotten a faulty card,but if I did I would have been so upset. Just take my word that if you get it from that site I linked IT WILL WORK. =)

ok i just contacted the site i bought it from and hopefully they reply soon. i dont know if i would rather get my money back or a replacement card.

yeah gamebygame.com is where i ordered from i get stuff from them in 2 to 3 days it varies but it's fast considering it's free shipping.
realhotstuff is good to you can't go wrong with either site.

I too have encountered this exact problem with my Acekard 2i. I ordered it from regentdsi.com, a reasonable price of 24.98 with shipping, the cart and usb adapter for the micro sd card. I got it really fast but no matter what I tried to do my ds lite would simply not recognize there was a cart inserted. I even tried the cardboard trick mentioned earlier and that did not work either. I was using the official ak2i firmware from the acekard website so it's probably a faulty cart. Haven't heard back from the company yet on what I need to do to get a working unit. If worse comes to worse, I have paid with paypal and will probably file a dispute if I can't resolve it with the company. This forum was very helpful for me in determining what to do about this situation, thank you all!

sounds it is a faulty card...
try to get from dealextreme..but its delivery is quite slow..
