Having trouble compiling a WPS file.

Hi there, Me and my friends are working on a rehost of a Miiverse clone and we are trying to make the Wii U connect to the Miiverse Applet, we have MOST of it done, It is called Grape, and the patcher is GrapePatcher but we're just stuck on compiling, we're getting an error that is keeping us from compiling, The error is
Makefile:11: /devkitPro/wups/share/wups_rules: No such file or directory make: *** No rule to make target '/devkitPro/wups/share/wups_rules'. Stop.

Very late, but I ran into this problem as well. I wasn't able to build the project I was meaning to build regardless.

Anyway, what you needed was to install wups and (potentially) wums with make install. Unfortunately, neither of these appear to be in devkitPro repos, which is why you need to build them.

Edit: I got some help and realised that libkernel was also necessary. Consider it as well.
