Homebrew having problems using an R4 with twloader

hey guys so i hope you can help me
im trying to get my games that are on my r4 to show up and load using twloader.
ive followed the directions on the github page but it doesnt seem to work

so what happens is I select add game and the R4 loads up YSMENU then i select the game from my games folder and the entire console crashes forcing me to hold the power button and reboot.

has anyone got any ideas how I can get it working?

ive tried formatting the micro sd and updating twloader so far

already did but couldnt get an answer the maker said it doesnt happen to him and he wouldn't be able to help so i was hoping that someone else here experienced the same problem and maybe has a fix

Does the cart boot without TWloader?

yeah its the strangest thing too because when i boot the card using apache thunders slot 1 launcher and i pick ysmenu then it comes up with the twloader add a game screen o.0

it however crashes on running fat:/_nds/twloader.nds with 1 parmeters
