I want to and plan on eventually making a dock. But I don't plan on using it that much if at all - so yeah novelty for me.

I currently sync my saves with a PSTV, so I really have no use for the dock. I just really love the idea.

I've been looking at actual 3D printed docks that you set the Vita on and install a pi inside the dock.

where would one buy 3D printed docks? do you have any idea by chance?

I haven't checked myself, but my friend @atreyu187 asked about this on place. he found all the info he needed as well as apparently a person to buy a 3d printed dock from on reddit. you'll have to google it, but he said he found it in less than 30 minutes.

Etsy, search "Vita dock".
Usually on Etsy people will 3D print stuff for you custom for some extra $$. Especially if it's similar to what they are doing already (They may even consider offering it).

Here are some neat dock printer files that a printer would need.

Also thingverse has some cool dock files to send to a printer.

Careful for which pi type.
