Hacking Have A9LH on 9.2 sysnand Full Reset

Guys I have a 9.2 sysnand and a9lhax installed. How do i go about wiping emunand and only having a sysnand that i can then start fresh and install a new emunand. Am i stuck as i have a9lhax installed?

I messed my 3DS up bad and i can boot to sysnand and emunand but i want to wipe everything, including nand and sd card, and start clean with a a clean 9.2 sysnand and a clean 10.6 emunand with fbi installed, all while keeping A9LH, I can't boot into decrypt9 or similar on emunand as i get red screen

You'd think mate. I think you press L&R at boot but I just get a black screen.

If you followed the guide written by Plailect, decrypt9 should boot when you hold X while booting.

If it doesn't make sure the Decrypt9WIP.bin is in your a9lh folder.

im using AuReiNand and SubstituteCS I'll try using X when I get home. Everywhere I've read says hold L&R, apologies.

If you followed the guide written by Plailect, decrypt9 should boot when you hold X while booting.

If it doesn't make sure the Decrypt9WIP.bin is in your a9lh folder.

Anyway, X button was for cakes as Plailect's guide was using cakes until recently.

Do u have access to enter FBI or HBL? U can try enter drecypt9 by other ways besides the bootmanager.

I have a sysnand on 9.2 that Aurienand thinks is an emunand so have to autoboot the 10.6 emunand using the sysupdate flag file.

Dont rush anything more, try to get a more experienced response first, but from my point of view u still have a working sysnand so if u can ever enter a decrypt9 it should not have problem restoring it providing u have a backup.

I don't know what you did, I'm trying to make sense of what happened, but I can't. Are you sure you didn't just update sysnand by mistake and now you think you're booting into emunand when you're actually booting into sysnand?

Yeah I messed up my emunand so I got into decrypt9 and restored my working sysnand to my emunand that's when the issue started. Aurienand wouldn't boot into emunand without holding the R button. I now have a working 9.2 sysnand and a 10.6 emunand but Aurienand will autoboot into my 9.2 sysnand unless I put the sysnand flag file in the rei folder and then it will autoboot into 10.6 reinand. I don't have a way to boot hombrew in my 10.6 emunand. That's why I want to start again. Get a fully working 9.2 sysnand and then create emunand and get FBI or Hombrew menu cia at least into my emunand and have Aurienand autoboot my emunand.

It's not as easy to tell as when you had menuhax for obvious reasons, but like I said previously, Aureinand knows which nand to boot up even if you don't through the flags. Just trust it. You've most likely updated sysnand on accident thinking it was emunand and that's fine. You really don't need to do anything else. Just make sysnand your main.

yeah i cant install anything, on 9.2 i can get into homebrew launcher but i get a red screen on decrypt9 and FBI/Dev menu wont install any cia. all i want is a 9.2 sysnand and a 10.6 now 10.7 emunand

I'm getting it. And you are saying u can't open drecypt9 neither via emunand or via bootmanager? If no, so there is something that was badly done in someway. U said u cant enter HBL on your 10.6 nand, if u followed plailect's guide, u should have FBI installed on this, right? If so, install cubic ninja\OoT and you will regain access to it.

try different arm9loaderhax. the objective here is to run emunand9tool or other payload which u need to reconfirm your a9lh is working fine. for starter u can try bootctrl9:-

download latest version, put all files in sd card. edit boot_config.ini. u can configure which button to pressed to launch specific payload. for an example:-

Why? I had that thought process too, but (at least with Cakes) you can block FIRM updates. If Nintendo decides to exploit the console(s) to overwrite the FIRM, they'd be able to do it regardless of SysNAND / EmuNAND.
