Hacking Has anyone tried playing cia's without gateway inserted?

I mean, inserting gateway cart, going into gateway mode, then ejecting the cart and playing the cia installed games.
Anyone's been doing it constantly? just wondering if it's safe, I think I heard somewhere people bricked their 3DS doing that.
I have only 1 cart and 2 3DS's, and would love to play MH4U with my lil bro eventually when it comes out.

If you take out the Gateway card when emuNAND has loaded up, you will be fine. I've been doing it for a while.

My CFW that uses gateway runs CIA's fine without any card, I down even own a gateway.

Wait does this mean you can essentially use Gateway on two 3DSes at once? Like I can install a MH4U cia on my 3DS and my friend's? And then I can just use Gateway to load it up on mine, give it to him, and then have him open it too so we can play together?

Yeah, its a little buggy though, as in it takes a few tries to boot sometimes.
