Hey, recently I picked up a used wii and went through the process of wii.guide to softmod and use ctgp revolution. A few days ago I was playing mario kart and it seemed like my Wii had crashed. The video output stayed on the same frame, and there was no sound output. I rebooted my wii like normal, however I crashed again in a similar manner except in less time than it took before. I did this once more until I realized that I was not getting a video signal anymore on start up. I checked my setup with another wii and it output video just fine (I used a Sewell wii2hdmi). I am able to eject discs, but to power the console off I have to hold the button for 10 seconds. As I type out all the details again I think it is a hardware failure in the motherboard, but I am not sure. I have priiloader installed and tried to startup with reset pressed, but still no video output.

Anyone with experience working on wiis know if this is a hardware failure?

I think is a hardware failure too, have you tried using a normal av cable or component cable?.

I have not tried the normal av cables. Unfortunately I am away from that console and have since ordered another one, so I can't test any time soon. Thanks for the input though.
