Final Fantasy 3 and Lunar Dragon Song are hard. Especially near the end.

And you should never think about playing Nostalgia. In the beginning, it seems like a nice game, but as you progress, the enemies' level will go up incredibly fast. You'll die. A lot. Seriously.

I say Etrian Odyssey.
Now I fell to play it , lol.

But I gotta beat The Dark Spire first. I recommend it too, great game.

Sands of Destruction Sometimes easy some times ass-raping hard

It's only hard until you spend an hour grinding. At that point, you never need to artificially level again until the very end. Which is, in fact, "ass-rapingly difficult."

Lol, completely agreed. Sands of Destruction was ridiculously easy all the way through, but the last boss battles were a bitch :/

Suikoden was just.. easy all the way through. In fact, if a few of your characters are lower levels than the others, they automatically get extra EXP. So the game makes it easier for you

If you like grinding and moderately difficult games, FFIII and FFIV would probably be perfect. And yeah, Etrian Odyssey as well.

The Dark Spire it is a brilliant game. But hard as hell.

Another game I played a bit then, I just stopped the game is called Hoshigami.

Super Robot Teisen OG Saga.
You can start off with all 8 members fully powered up and throw in the largest attack/combo you can chain, only to find out you barely put a dent in a Boss' support. Its one of the few games out there that was hard for me even though I had Infinite HP/MP cheats active.

I believe the two shin megami tensei games are ridiculously hard....especially devil survivor...I never finished it....damn game

izuna's pretty hard too

shiren is just.......no......don't put yourself through that....there are more entertaining stuff to do....like commiting suicide or jumping off a cliff.

Strange Journey isnt hard per se. tedious is the word i would use
