So no halo reach DLC? Good I don't want to spend another £40~ on DLC packs just so I can continue playing matchmaking :|
I'm not gonna 'put all my eggs' in the 'microsoft basket' though... I won't trust that halo is safe until I see what they do with it obviously.
Especially coming from a microsoft employee or whoever he is.

Considering all the games so far are mediocre at best with no quality, yes, I do hope it conserve that. Halo is a seriously overrated game.
As of yesterday, I would have had the same opinion as you. I just didnt get what was so amazing about the Halo franchise. I tried Halo 3 multiple times but I just couldnt get into it but I started Reach and I am really enjoying it. I dont think I would call it as good as say Mass Effect 2 but its better than half the stuff that comes out nowadays.

Why does everyone hate on Halo? I'm not gonna be a huge fanboy, but seriously it's a good game. Microsoft isn't that bad either. Everyone on this site are just Nintendo fanboys.

Microsoft will milk the cash cow all they can with Halo because the stupid fanboys will eat it up like the mindless drones that they are. And still it will have the worst return rate of any franchise in gaming history when it comes to used copies. Honestly, there are probably well over 100 copies of each Halo game for the 360 at my local EB Games store, there were 50 within a week of Halo 3 releasing.

Man, we should tell everybody to pirate all thye next halo games. that'll teach them something.

apparently it's NOT in safe hands
