'Halo Wars' Demo Dated, Release Date Pushed Forward!

"Microsoft's Robbie Bach just announced during the company's CES keynote that a demo for Ensemble's swansong title, Halo Wars on the 360, will be made available for download on Xbox Live on February 5.

What's more, he announced that Halo Wars would be out on February 28, instead of the previously-announced March 3, bringing the US release into line with the rest of the world.

Finally, Bach took the time to assure the crowd that the Halo 3: ODST expansion will out in 2009."

Why was the US release so far behind the rest of the world, that doesnt seem right, but 3 days difference isn't really such a big deal.

[...]We contacted Microsoft and the company confirmed that the official Halo Wars release date for the US, Canada, Mexico and South America is still March 3 as previously announced. The game will ship on February 25 in Japan and Asia and February 27 in Europe.
