    Hello guys,

    I hope this thread can be used for discussion regarding progress and ideas in hacking different parts of the infrastructure around booting the vWii, emulating the wiimotes etc.

    Please, don't derail this thread. No vWii unbricking. Thanks.

    Seeking this thread, the OSv1 has a lot of interesting stuff and probably will replace the vWii in a near future :)

    Thanks for all of your hard work!, I look forward to developments in this area; especially gaining gamepad controls for vWii titles and output options (480p/576p) for the vWii mode.

    I look forward to seeing how this progresses! having gamepad support for the Wii and Virtual Console environment is something I've been wanting for years.

    So the gamepad gets mapped as a normal remote and then emulated, just like construct gamepad setup for nwf.

    I wasn't aware of this thread.
    I'm really glad there is people interested in making full vWii compatible with the Gamepad.
    I hope it becomes a reality one day!

    Actually there is a fork of Mocha that launches vWii using OSv1, not sure if the gamepad works with that patch.

    The OP was the one, I think he did it for research porpuses, because his goal is to full control the Wii VC, not the vWii itself.

    The mocha repo was just an experiment that didn't work out.

    EDIT: Whaaaaaat? I didn't even know that some Wii VC games had Gamepad support...

    Interesting read, I was under the impression that vWii took care of the most think once rebooted but it seems most of the things are Wii U side, for example fw.img.

    You got a nice compilation of your findings, it seems Wii VC is way more complex than I though.
