Hello,

I tried everything mentioned before and found some tuto on youtube and wiki but not working at all.

I did use the pal version no save because never played and live in europe. Did put the boot elf file and private folder in my sd card 1 gig.
Followed step by step the instruction but in super smash brawl last screen i receive is the there in no save file. Unable to load or save data and after that nothing anymore.

Did try it without put sd card before boot the game and also with the game.

I don't know it anymore now. Took 2 hours yesterday and now one hour.

Can someone help me to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Well you need to create a new one, then delete the pre made stages, then try it out once more.

That's fine. Let it make a save and then go to the custom stages.

If one has a drive formatted with the Wii U for saving games downloaded from the e-shop, can the same drive also be used to load wii games in vwii and for use with gamcube ISOs in nintendont for example?

Question about USB loading. I have homebrew channel installed with usbloader gx and wiiflow after making necessary cIOS changes. I cannot get the vwii to read my USB drive. I have 3 flash drives, 2 of which are supposedly confirmed to work with USB loader gx. Do I NEED a powered external drive, or should my flash drives work? I've scoured the net have no answers on this. Pretty frustrated.

I'm using a 16GB Sandisk thumbdrive, and I've seen users using flash drives up to 128GB, so this SHOULD work. It may be one of 2 things: 1) You're using the wrong USB port. (Yes, this matters). For vWii, use the port on the top if the Wii U is lying down (not propped on its side by the stands), or 2) you incorrectly installed the cIOSs. If #1 does not work, post a syscheck

Excellent. I'm glad to know its possible. Will try tonight and post back. Do you use usbloader gx? Wiiflow? Other? Btw, noob question incoming: how do I post a syscheck?

EDIT: I got it. I was using the 2 front USB ports, didn't originally even known there were porte on the back. Works flawlessly with my 32gb sandisk glide. Thanks a 1,000,000

Sweet, glad to hear I could be of a help!

To post a syscheck, you would download an app called "SysChecker" by JoostinOnline (in his signature). Upon reading up after posting, it actually doesnt work on the latest FW versions, so I'm glad that the first part helped

Will keep that in mind. I'm off to load up my GameCube collection. I'll be around, this place is full of useful info. Ty again

Can you update this since the 5.3.2 browser freeze looks like it's going to be exploitable? After the ROP addresses are found, this means that ROP will be possible on 5.3.2....

This is for vWii, all Wii U specific stuff is over in my thread, I'll probably update it when either 1) Webkit exploit is updated or 2) the kernel exploit is released.

I currently have a Wii U with homebrew channel installed on vWii (no cIOS installed yet). I think there are some graphic issues with the video card on my WiiU so I'm going to buy another one and return the one I currently have (only bought it a week or so ago).

My plan is to do a Wii U system to system transfer before I bring back the defective one. Apparently it transfers everything including NNID and Wii stuff/menu data. Does anyone know if this is a good idea, or if I should just start fresh on the new Wii U? I don't mind doing this but it'll mean I will have to call nintendo to transfer over my NNID to the new console and reinstall HBC.

kardus If you didnt use NNID that much might as well delete the one on it and start new, reinstalling HBC is a cinch and wouldnt take you any more extra time since you said you didnt even install cios on it,if you really want to keep your NNID then go for it.

Reason I want to keep the NNID is because I bought two games on it already :/
