Hardware hacking old 3DSXL

I hope this is the correct place to put it.
I'm trying to hack my 3DSXL following the guide but i'm stuck on point 14 :"Navigate to <ID0> -> <32-character-id> -> Nintendo DSiWare on your SD card" i don't have this on my 3DS sd card.

What is steel diver ? It's not mentioned in the guide ?
I'm now in the section :
Section IV - Flashing FIRM:
when it says "Launch b9sTool by starting your DSiWare game on your device" the game just starts, it doesn't launch the b9stool.

@tall guy It seems there is no DSiWare on your SD-card, so go back to step 1, start System Settings, Data Management, DSiWare and copy the game to the SD-card. After copying, the game will be here:

SD-Card:/Nintendo 3DS/<Random Numbers>/<Random Numbers>/Nintendo DSiWare

Found it! but i'm here now:
I'm now in the section :

when it says "Launch b9sTool by starting your DSiWare game on your device" the game just starts, it doesn't launch the b9stool. Sudoku starts normal.

I already have a 3DS with cfw. Can i use the sd card of the 3DS to hack the 3DSXL?
