i own the latest just dance game for the switch and my daughter loves it. The premium service of unlocking all the songs (just dance unlimited) requires my switch to be online constantly and it’s a paid in the ass to restore and back up nands to try and prevent getting banned.

Any idea if this is something possible for this game?

I don't think it's possible because I'm pretty sure the songs are being streamed from the JD online servers as you play. I guess you will have to buy your daughter a Switch or get her the game for a different platform that you already own.

There might be another solution...
If you have SX OS and if you think their emuNAND implementation is up to snuff, then you can have your CFW backups/homebrew on emunand (maybe even have a separate SD card for emuNAND+CFW, and have a separate SD card for OFW).

But if you don't trust their emuNAND implementation, you could check out yourself if it leaves traces, since you've supposedly been doing NAND backups/restores repeatedly, so you're in a perfect position to test it out for everyone. :p
(assuming you have SX OS, or are willing to get it)

Just take a boot0+1+rawNAND backup of your sysNAND before running emuNAND, maybe install a few NSPs and play some games in emuNAND, then take another sysnand backup, and check if it's unchanged (even just checking the SHA checksum of the file would be enough).
