Well I do play indeed sometimes online. So I would still like to keep that ability.

Then it wouldn't make sense to use a DNS to block updates because it would block online play as well. And if you decide you want to play online, you will be plagued by messages to update.

Am I really risking by this way to get banned? Or I shouldn't be worrying since I'm using online only on OFW, not on CFW?

There's always a risk to getting banned when you hack your console.
