If you mean the bubble script - that doesn't work and causes a crash on the switch, the python 2.7 script that's posted works fine, so I will mod that for python 3.9.

there are same both from OP and works fine both you can ask reacher . I was talking about printed lines from 22 to 42.
errors came for uncomented line 101 that was forgot when i first upload the file ^^ but now works fine with python 3.x

I only wish this solution had come sooner. Anyway let's just hope this leads to a working XCI loader on the latest nintendo firmware.

Honestly, even if 11.0.1+ is never supported, SXOS still compatible with 3000+ games. A simple extra EmuNAND (file based) on your existing SD is well worth the USB compatibility. You can even use the EmuNAND space for NSP. It's easy. I don't care if they ever update it.

Great job!

I hope all the OS prejudice dies and this somehow leads to an independent XCI loader.

Yes, well done @Reacher17  and for @mrdude :bow:for modifying his scripts.
It looks like you've managed to do what a number of people on here tired to do and failed

it's took a long time, near 3 years now since SX OS first came out. I've been using it since t came out, you cant beat XCI loading, no matter what anyone else says :)

Do XCI's run from a micro sd card also?
Just curious to the answer. I don't need it as I run a SX Core on a v1 unpatched console with a 2tb Sandisk extreme ssd.

If it does work, I was thinking about picking up one of those 2tb sandisk micro sd cards that cost 2 arms and 2 legs!

Xci works from anything. Including internal SDs. SD cards with a usb adapter. Even an OTG cable and all of the USB storage devices you can think of in handheld mode.

FYI, it seems tinfoil has some sort of check for the licence as I am getting this using the hacked SXOS (works OK on non hacked SXOS)

I have just tested :
switch unpatched / sx os 3.1.0 / emunand hidden partition 11.0.0
- sx os launch normally on emunand
- when you go on album it open the sx menu with "free licence" unstead invalid licence
- xci works directly
Tomorrow I will show proof and I will make an easy tutorial ^^

You need an activated licence on another switch, next you copy your licence.dat into the switch you want to hack.
Next, install python2.7
Next install pycypto (sudo pip install pycrypto)
Next edit the last script of reacher17 with the fingerprint of the legit licenced switch
launch the script with the original boot.dat into the same folder.

The boot.dat is now hacked, copy also the rommenu.nro into switch folder and you are ready, sxos is now fully hacked :)

maybe your right, it's from blawar isn't it ? , I'm sure he could check if the licence was real with his links to TX ;)

Tinfoil checks for files that indicate you booted with Hekate. For whatever reason, Blawar doesn't want people using that bootloader, but if you use a vanilla bootloader with sigpatches, it will not show you that message.

I see good things coming from this, We are ether going to get some cool stuff coming to atmosphere or we will get a new cfw branch of sxos.
