Presenting hacbuildGUI [Git] a GUI frontend for @LucaFraga 's hacbuild [Git] [Thread]

Update 1.1: added file checking.

LucaFraga's Thread said:
Today we introduce hacbuild, a tool capable of rebuilding XCI files from scratch!

early warning: This is still developer oriented for now, there is not much to see for end users (yet)

This tool makes it possible (or rather will make it in the future) to:

- Rebuild games with edited files (rom hacks, translations)
- Ultra trim XCI games by removing the update partition (but leaving one file) and by having a more optimized HFS0 builder (this is already possible)
- Load eShop titles as (virtual) cartridges!
- Load homebrew as (virtual) cartridges! (I guess it's viable?)

Unfortunately there are a few limitations:
- XCI Signature becomes invalid (this is a non-issue with SX OS since it bypasses it)
- NCAs can't be edited for now (since there is no way to bypass their RSA signature yet)
- eShop titles won't launch due to the fact that, until we can edit NCAs, they still look for a ticket (should work if you own the game tho)

Pretty cool, however, it keeps crashing whenever I try to preform an operation
you need the XCI_header_key in a keys.txt file in the same folder path as the exe. However I can't seem to find it from usual sources so i can't help you here, sorry pal. Maybe someone in the know can show us the right path.

I literally googled "xci header key" and it was one of the first results. Do you just paste it into the keys.txt document by itself? Because I'm still getting crashes.

Its on xbins, in dir /SWITCH/PC based software/XCI Tools/hacbguildGUI

Though im having the same exact issue despite having the keys.txt filled out as described on the github

https://github.com/LucaFraga/hacbuild

Says..

The program will automatically seek a keys.txt file in the working directory in order to gather the only key needed: XCI Header Key (xci_header_key = 01C5...)

Still crashing.

Well that's something @LucaFraga could look into, idk maybe a better errorlog would be helpfull on finding the issue

I'm working on a fix, unfortunately I have little spare time for this project.

And the ban risk? Same for XCI and SX OS risks?

Playing pirated games online will of course get you banned. This tool is intended to help repackage xci for game mods for people who want to have fun offline, and hopefully won't be used to ruin online experiences for others.
