I am new to Wii Hacking and this forum. I understand some things about the whole process, but in general, it's all a bit confusing.

Anyways, I have HBC, Priiloader, bootmi IOS and GX Loader 3.0.

All work great except for some games on GX Loader. I am unsure whether it is an issue with the file on my USB HDD, or whether it is a problem related to IOSs and such.

    I have installed IOS 245-251, and 254 (Bootmii), and I used d2x installer to install d2x v10 beta 52 to slot 249 and 250.

I had IOS 222/223, but removed them because they were stubs (according to d2x installer and DOP-mii)

DOP-mii also identifies IOS 249 & 250 as stubs - im not sure if that is supposed to be like that, as GX loader works using 249 (I assume).

When I go to play a game that does not work, I select the game, and the game channel appears (with Settings and Start options), but there is no game animation.

At this point, I'm stuck at to what to do next. I appreciate any help. :)

    Thanks, mHengy

I've never seen all the IOS's disabled before man. That is almost certainly your problem. You need to install cIOS 249 base 56 and cIOS 250 base 57. These will allow you to play virtually all Wii games from your HDD.

Am I mistaken in thinking that d2x and cIOSx are one and the same?

    I have installed d2x, using slot 249 & base 56, and slot 250 base 57.

    Thanks, mHengy

    One more thing..

I just tried to install a forwarder for an emulator, and when trying to install it, it gave me an error about not having IOS 58. It also, in the corner, said I was on IOS 36. It now makes sense, reading the sysCheck...

If I run the IOS 58 installer, will it screw anything up? I read one place that I would need to reinstall HBC?

They are the same thing. d2x is a combination of the coder's names. The "X" is for Xflac, the creator of ModMii. I would download your IOS's directly from ModMii. Those are always safe and stable. I would download the necessary IOS wads from ModMii instead of using an installer. Just install them using whatever wad installer you have, and it should fix your problem. If your homebrew channel is up-to-date, I wouldn't reinstall it.
