i just got a freeze in midst of kirby mass attack.
and what i often notice upon turning on my n3ds xl is that it does not detect anything in the cart slot even though i have the blue gw card inserted.(so like i have to eject it and then reinsert it for my n3ds to detect the card, this happens all the time).

and when it freezes and i try reseting it still is in the white freeze screen and when i press home and check the slot is empty again, as in it probably got itself ejected again, iirc. i tried a r4 card i have lying around at home and i had the same issue..

the only thing i havent tried is inserting a 3ds game in and checking if those eject themselves too, making me think it could be my 3ds game slot being the problem here :l

the thing is i dont get a satisfying click when i insert the cartridge, it was flawless on my small og3ds. (full clickiness, whereas on my n3dsxl it makes a scratching sound as i try to insert it in, it does stick in place but not as satisfying not sure how to explain.)

Actually, with some flashcards (especially cheaper ones, doubt the Gateway should) what actually gets old and begins to eject, is the flashcard itself.
I know it because all of my flashcards (this one) nowadays ejects sometimes from all of my consoles (n2DSxl, o2DS and DSi), while real games don't eject themselfs and the consoles recognize them at first glance while with the flashcards, don't.
