Hacking GW and Smash 3DS Save Problem...

I downloaded a save from https://www.3ds-savegames.com/ for use with GW. Anyway, when I put the save on my SD card and booted game, it said save was corrupted... Anyone else experience this and or know if it is normal? Thoughts appreciated
