Hacking Guitar problems

I'm playing GH:WT and Rock Band 2 on my 3.2U with Gamma. I am using the Nyko Frontman wireless controller. While playing GH:WT, I often get a message in the middle of a song along the lines of "Warning! All controllers are connected!" It's very strange. With Rock Band 2, the connection sometimes drops entirely during the song and I have to take the Wiimote out of the guitar and reset it. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it possible this has to do with using a backup or does that occur to people with the original games as well?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
