Hardware Guitar Hero Les Paul Controller question??

hi.
today when i was playing guitar hero with les paul controller i noticed that there is a port beside of the controller.
its like the modem port or LAN.i dont know what is it for.
does any body knows what is it for??or give me a link to a site that has information about it??

nope its a mystery
or double's up as a telephone as well

it's a port for a pedal that we never released. i believe even then original GH/GH2 guitar had the 'telephone' port

Yep, it was supposly for pedal. I believe there was an amp release that uses that too. I remember buying one for 10 dollars on black friday. Though it ended up being use for a real guitar actually, never even bother to tested it for the GH guitar xP
