ROM Hack GTA Patched New ID

I've tried everything I could think of just to get my AR cheat codes working on my GTA for my R4DS. I can play it just fine normally on the patched version of the XPA ROM, but I really want the AR codes to be enabled. From what I've gathered, I'm pretty sure the cheats don't show up on the screen (so I can't even see them) because the Game ID was changed after the patching. So can anyone tell me what the NEW GAME ID of a patched GTA XPA rom is?

You can get the GameID from within the R4 Cheat Editor.

Open it in a hex editor and read it? Not exactly sure where it is placed, but that shouldn't be too hard to figure out as you can use the other rom you used as a reference. Or google of course

I know I can change it but the cheats still will not activate.

!!!NOTE!!!: This only works (as far as i know) for R4DS.

The Game ID of XPA-patched is: YGXE d694d447

If you ever lose this game ID here's a tutorial on how to get it:

1. Put the patched file 'xpa-gtac-patched' somewhere you can easily find it.

2. Now open the R4 cheat code editor, look at the top of the window and you should see a section called Tools, open it.

3. Now select the first option 'get gameID from ROM'.

4. Search for the patched file, select it and open it.

5. The Game ID should be right in front of you.

I remember their being a "ID reader" on the original cheat editor. but NO section "tools" exists on R4 cheat editor...

Might be an updated version i was talking about then?

But I'm pretty sure the one in the link has a section called tools...
