Hacking GTA - Chinatown Wars DS Multi Card Problem

I manage to get my game working, everything is fine like wifi and saving but when i try to play multi card with my brother it freezes everytime the game count down. I host a game of Defend Base, he joins and when the game starts it counts from 1-3 but at 3 it freezes. I also tried other games like Gang Bang but same problem. Is there any arm files or fixes for this problem? If so post here or email me ([email protected])

Are you using a patched ROM or the save-fix cheat code?

Do you have a flashcart that has been updated to work with the game without patching or codes? You didn't say what flashcarts you are using.

I use R4 Flashcard Kernal 1.18

Wi-fi works for me. But it's the multicard play that freezes (same as OP).
I'll try Wood instead of YSMenu.

Chinatown Wars works on WoodR4, mine is patched IIRC. But I gotta start all over. Is this really obligatory.

you dont have to start a new game.

rename all your saves to *game name*.nds.sav

I just noticed, thanks anyway.
I'll try for multicardplay later with my brother. At least I got some new firmware now. It's pretty damn slick.

I've got thesame problem. Both games should be run by thesame kernel version.
For example when i moved to wood 1.08 and second r4 gor wood 1.04 then gta starts but multiplayer ends after loading. So be shure that both R4 got thesame firmware and pure rom.
