Where to begin? Well, I guess I'll start with what I am like; I really adore classic games, HUGE pokemon fan, I think Nintendo > All (please don't hate me :x) and very gullible(sad truth :/)

Welcome! I recently discovered the same thing, I was at a gaming convention ("Firstlook" the dutch e3 ) where I realized that I'm much more excited for nintendo games than for anything else! Yes, even the new Kirby > BF3. (NEW KIRBY IS REALLY AWESOME!!!!)
