If you don't mind graphics: C&C Renegade. Me and My friends have been playing it on lan parties for 6 years. (I also still play TFC instead of TF2 yeah

Agreed TFC is way better then TF2.

Natural Selection is nice, but as it needs communication some what, playing in one room might be troublesome.

Still, though, play same TFC, or even better, NeoTF.

well according to steam, $10 for a school account per person that has HL2 HL2e1 HL2e2 TF2 CS:S Portal GMod and a crap load more for a full year!!!

DotA is probably the best LAN game there is. Play with 4 other friends and go on a pub-stomping spree.
