I'm working on a custom GBA project.

And I wan't do modify it with the coolest, funnest, and most useful mods out there.

The only mods I can find out there is the back light, (done)
And that's about it.... :P

So just post any mod you can think of for the GBA, it would help me out allot.

Thanks.

  1. You could overclock it
  2. You could add a TV Out to it if you're willing to pay a bit and hunt down a GBA Transverter or Converter on EBay, one like this
  3. You could add better quality speakers
  4. You could embed high-capacity rechargable batteries into it
Sky's the limit, really. Google around for existing mods for inspiration.

If aesthetics are your thing, I've found many interesting ideas in this site:

my favorite is probably this one

Yeah, I am already going to add game-cube controls to it. So that should be interesting.

I have been searching around for a joystick mod. I wan't to replace the D-Pad with a joystick (aka thumb-stick.) like on a game-cube controller.
I haven't been able to find anything online.

Also, just as a note. If the mod takes up allot of space, it doesn't matter, because I am making a custom shell to contain all of the hardware, so I have quite a bit of space to work with.
